Limber Travelers

This is a gift for my very dear friend ~yuni !

These two elves are from my Oriental Tribe. There are brothers.
The younger one is called Sylas and his older brother is named
Sayalin. They have seven years old difference. They spread and
share the love of contortionism through other tribes and villages
travelling a lot. They leave the Oriental Tribe for one or two months
per year and go in different villages to show their skills and habits.
Each elven Tribe has his own traditions and skills and Sylas and
Sayalin travel to share the art of contortion and also attract other
elves to the Tribe. So the village is more and more well known and
trades are easier between all these villages.

Sylas and Sayalin are almost like twins. They do the same things,
like the same things, have the same behaviours. They are
considered as twins in the Tribe in fact. Except Sayalin is older than
Sylas. During their shows, they wear particular clothes that are
almost like a second skin. The clothe is transparent and only the
marks are visible, making these outfits look like tattoos directly on
the skin. And this is also way more comfortable than their
traditional clothings.

Before Sylas was born, Sayalin was one of Emaryl's student. He
was talented, as the other elves of the tribe and always tried to
be as good as Aaulin but never managed to become his equal.
Aaulin always considered his as his equal though but Sayalin,
seeing he was not able to do the same extreme positions, decided
to stop training with Emaryl and learn by himself. He was a bit
jealous of Aaulin's talent and seeing Emaryl and Aaulin so close made
him even more jealous, so he always did everything alone. Until his
brother was born.

When Sylas was born, Sayalin immediately took great care of him
and taught him what he already knew. Like Aaulin did with Aorev.
He was a bit too much envious and wanted to be the best and
was blinded by his own ambitions. But he realized it was useless
to act like this with his brother, it was not necessary to make Sylas
become the best and force him to do things he would not really like
was not what Sayalin really wanted. He understand that the day
his little brother became close to Aorev and saw how close and
affectionate Aaulin was with his beloved brother. Since then, he
stopped wanting to be the best and stopped to desire what others
had or were able to do. He learnt to be happy with what he had
and lived the way he really wanted.

Aaulin one day asked to Sayalin and Sylas to become the
representative couple of the religion and skills of the Oriental Tribe
by travelling in other villages to teach to others what the Oriental
Tribe really is and does. That's the way they now travel from tribes
to tribes and meet lots of new elves and traditions, bringing back
home every new things and stories they learn.
