Beautiful! ^.^ What would we do without flexibility, lol! We'd be doomed to draw only standing and sitting characters... This is so much more creative, I think. Even though contortion is unusual, it's still very pleasing to look at, somehow. Well, maybe it's just me ^.^ Anyway, she has such beautiful feet ^-^
Thank you so much ! <3 Withtout it we would draw only boring pose I suppose, and very repetitive. Things that everybody could draw, but with contortion so many beautiful and creative poses are possible. It is way more pleasant to draw limber positions and way more interesting too. :3 Aah thank you for the feet. I enjoyed a lot drawing them and I'm trying to draw better and better. Since I have a thing for feet and hands, I try to do my best and draw beautiful ones. ^.^
:3 Yup ! I drew a lot of contortion poses. Contortion is a passion for me. I do a bit of contortion in the real life but since I have some health problems I can't really do it often. So in a way I can do contortion through my illustrations. That's maybe why I draw so many contortionists. And also because I really find it beautiful the way the human body can bend. I'm sure you could draw a limber character if you'd really like to. And it would be a good training at human proportions. It helps a lot with it I think.
I really think you just need to train until you manage to draw a limber pose well. You know before I was only reproducing artworks, I was not able at all to do my own illustrations and one day a friend of mine almost forced me to draw my own characters. I tried and the result was horrible, but then I tried again and again and finally managed to have a result, even though it was not very pretty I had something. Then from this result I improve every day and managed to create my own characters. Then I tried contortion and trained a lot and now I have the level I have. ^-^ If you have a look at my very old drawings you'll laugh, for sure. So don't be afraid of trying again and again. Really, you should keep training and one day you'll do very pretty limber characters.
